How to Save a Life"It's time for me to go now."

As if answering the girl's solemnly spoken words, the summer wind blew across the empty roof in an almost excited fashion. It blew her nightgown against her legs as she turned to face it. The night was lit brightly by the shining buildings and streetlights, but all of them seemed dim to her.

"Why?" an angry voice cried out behind her, and even though she knew he was going to react this way, she couldn't help but flinch.

"You know why," she replied, her tone eerily calm. It was at that moment that she felt a hand grip her bare arm roughly. She began to wonder whether he knew how much he hurt her, if he knew tha

and no one even bothered to say,

"Will you ever return?"
When will they learn?
But no one bothered to say it to her.

I left on that day,
I went my own way,
but no one even bothered to say,

"I really love you."
I don't think it's true,
but I'd still say "I love you, too."

We all wonder why
she left us dry,
but we still didn't bother to say goodbye.

And neither did she,
not even to me.
At the very least, now, she's finally free.

I left them alone,
how can I atone?
Would I have stayed there, had I then known?

I can certainly tell
that all of us fell
when I didn't even bother to bid them farewell.

The five year old girl cautiously entered the dimly lit room, eyes wandering curiously at her surroundings. It wasn't often she was allowed to stand in this room, and so she wanted to savor the rare moment.

The man sitting inside the study sighed audibly. Pencils were scattered across his desk, his paper coated in various amounts of graphite.

“I'm busy right now,” the man said tiredly, “and I need to have this done for a client by tomorrow. Go play.”

Sometimes you get stuck in difficult situations, and you just want to start over.

Once in a while, you're given a huge handout. Other times, just a small piece.

You don't know why you keep going on with it.

because my eyes are a bluey-green and I'm in Catholic school... Then I just laughed. THis was really cute and if I sat next to someone I liked, I'd probably feel the same. Except he already rejected me...

let me get over how cute this is so that I can give it proper feedback

I notice that one thing you do often in your writing is make really short paragraphs, usually only a sentence long. There's nothing really wrong with that because the style is sometimes needed. I think, though, that sometimes it would be good to have longer paragraphs

I love the dialogue you do!

there wasn't much in this but that was a good thing about it... it doesn't need much dialogue to be good! And even though it was short it got to the point. Your writing always gets me to connect with the person behind it
